Neighborhood Block Party!

We absolutely LOVE our 'hood! :) We had the 3rd annual neighborhood block party last night and it was a blast! There were kids and adults games, pulled chicken sandwiches, a kids' bike parade, a three-legged race, and a movie outside at dusk for the kids on a giant screen. They watched Monsters Vs. Aliens and there was even a little "Sugar Shack" for them to get candy at, plus kid-sized bags of popcorn and glow sticks! The adults had a campfire and did an Egg Toss and Bean Bag Toss, and just visited. Every time we pay our mortgage payment, we remember why we moved here. There are kids everywhere and lots of nice friends wherever we go. "It takes a Village...", right?! ;)
