Our Adoption Group

All these people plus another 6-8 unable to be seen from this angle

We have small snacks
Small sampling of the kids I could grab on camera-- Jack really likes the blond with the pigtails, Emma.

We're so blessed to be a part of an adoption small group at our church! We meet about a mile from our home. The family who hosts it in their home is adopting a sibling group of 3 from the Ukraine. In addition to their 3 bio kids! She just got home from a month over there, and her husband will travel home with the 3 kids after another 4-6 weeks until things are finalized. Most of the families in our group are adopting from Ethiopia. A few others are doing domestic infant adoption (like us), some are just thinking about adopting, and one has already adopted 2 daughters. The kids play in their sound-proof, cement-walled basement, we have hired sitters for the kids, and we usually have a speaker or discuss a specific topic. It's a great support system for families in process as well as children who are adoptees.

Here's the family website of the people adopting from Ukraine:
