A Good Send-Off

Jason's Mom, Mary, or as Jack calls her, "Nanny," is headed to Kentucky for full-time ministry with Christian Appalachain Project. She was widowed nearly 3 years ago and her husband and she both had wanted to do some type of ministry when they reached retirement age. She found her niche in this organization (or you could say God put her in this niche), and she is ready to go work with the poorest of the poor in this country. This area can be compared to Tiajuana in Mexico. Very poor living conditions, no health care, sub-standard education, etc. She will have several different roles to play, from volunteer coordinator to a Case Manager for a whole county.
