While in FL last week, we had the great privilege of having lunch with astronaut, John Blaha-- he completed 5 missions in space, 2 as Commander. They had a Q&A time, and I was so proud of Jack for asking a question (although it was a typical 6-year old boy question: "How do you go to the bathroom in space?") The answer was, you turn on a switch like a light-switch and it creates a vacuum that removes liquid and solid waste. We got to see the shuttle Endeavor on the launch pad, which is scheduled to take flight on4/18 with congresswoman Gabrielle Gifford's husband as Commander. If you ever get the chance to visit NASA, definitely GO!
