A little Introduction:

We, the Johnson 3, were so blessed to enjoy another fabulous Spring Break vacation in Orlando this year! I was so thankful to be feeling great and not having that horrible cancer-treatment (Decadron/steroids) face. Praise the Lord for the great report from Mayo on March 8th and 9th, which allowed for us to celebrate this time!! God has been so faithful to us. How wonderful to hear the words, "scans look great!" a few weeks before leaving for a relaxing vacation......well, if you know us, it isn't always "relaxing" because we have so many places we like to visit and enjoy. Lots of walking: Epcot, The Magic Kingdom, Downtown Disney, Sea World, plus swimming with the manatees (Jason and Jack braved it!) and seeing the alligators, and Jason and Jack also drove a dune buggy!
Our incredible friends, Rich and Marcia and their girls met us there. Since they moved to Connecticut last August, we've been looking forward to this for many months!! My Mom accompanied us as well, which was wonderful as always. We did miss my Dad....but understand that pounding the pavement every day at the theme parks isn't everyone's passion!
Waiting to board the plane!

There's nothin' like a little Ginger Ale on the plane!
Dinner at Uno Pizzeria (well, the first of three times there!)
My beautiful Mom!
Our Florida House 2012
Cozy dining area and screened-in patio with private pool!

Yay! Even our rental car was a Nissan!

The owners of the home we rented were from Scotland. They had various items from the UK, and lots of IKEA furnishings. We loved this light blue leather sofa and chair looking out into the sparkling pool area.

Lunch at the counter at Johnny Rockets! We played a few oldies on the mini juke-boxes!

The food at Johnny Rockets was DEEE-LICIOUS!!
Jason bought me a wonderful 12th anniversary gift on the spur of the moment at this jewelry shop! Hearing, "well, do you want it?!" is a memory that will last a lifetime!

I liked the bag from the jeweler....Mont Blanc pens (I wanted to get one for Jason but he was not as impressed).

Alligators swarming for bites of "alligator chow" at a little mini-golf place.

The gators also really liked chunks of hot-dog! (which was provided)...And they've never even seen an Oscar Meyer commercial!

This is just seconds before the gator tried flinging itself out of my arms and I screamed bloody murder!

Jason and Alli.Gator.
Jack LOVES reptiles! (And any kind of predator.....!)

Next day was swimming with the manatees in a town called Crystal River~ on the Gulf side.

Jack all ready in his wetsuit!
He was ecstatic that he got to touch a manatee 3 times! He said their skin felt rough.

A fellow manatee swimmer reaching out to the gentle giants! We learned that manatees are very affectionate creatures.
Jason and Jack quietly swimming to the manatees!

LOL!

Our dear couple friends' precious daughters, Audrey and Lauren at Disney World!

Jack and Audrey are so adorable together! He is a gentleman and she is a little lady!

Lauren took a liking to Jason!

Our awesome friends and brother and sister in Christ, Rich and Marcia!

With my Man!
Audrey and Jack got light-up mohawks!

Sweet Lauren fell asleep on Marcia's shoulders.

At Sea World, waiting for SHAMU!!

Still waiting for SHAMU!!!

Ooooooh!!!! Awwwwww! Can't you hear the crowd?!

Miss A.

Miss L.

Outside of a candy shop at Sea World.... Hey, if we're not near chocolate, we're not on vacation!

Our families together. We miss them already!

Time for the Dune Buggy Riding!

Sweet Cheeks all ready to ride!

Great combination: a hair net and a helmet!?!?
We've been to Florida so many times over the past few years, this may be our last for a while....“A dream is a wish your heart makes, when you're fast asleep."
