Things are going great in the Johnson Home! Our little friends are adjusting more and more every day. They have excellent manners and bring their plates to the kitchen sink after every meal. Tanya is cheerful and very pleasant. I gave her a manicure this morning, and she enjoys things like that. We had gathering with some family members today to meet them, celebrate New Year's, and exchange a few gifts. Sergey and Vladimir got matching awesome camouflage watches from Grandpa Earl! This was a HUGE hit! They put them on immediately. Grandpa Earl gave Tanya a purple girly watch with animals/monkeys on it. Little did he know, she LOVES animals! They now have something of their "own." They are very protective of their treasures. We also gave Tanya a Little Mermaid doll, which she recognized right away. The boys got Hot Wheels, and Sergey quickly went to put his in his stash of items, away from the other kids. They have learned to guard their things and be possessive of them due to living in the orphanage. It's "fend for yourself" there. What a great feeling it is to give them gifts-- so heartwarming!

Tanya is a "Daddy's Girl!" She adores "Papa."
Vladimir gets a turn! The squeals of laughter are the best sound ever!
In case you were wondering, Mr. Jack is doing just great! So far, he's enjoying the company of 3 little Russian-speaking friends! He's learned some key Russian phrases, such as "No!" and laughs hysterically at some of their jabbering.
Tough-guy Sergey with his camouflage watch from Grandpa Earl!
Tanya's silly side!
Playing with Jack's Beyblades. Kudos to Jack for being so good at sharing!
