Memorial Day Weekend 2010
Out on the swing-set.
At Davanni's Pizza on Memorial Day: we had a blast with cousins Lilly and George and Amy and Neal, there and at Chuck E. Cheese for games!
Jack and friend Kade playing soccer
Ninja Turtle Shirt for Mama for $5 + one excited boy thinking that is the coolest thing ever = in the cart at Target!
Jack and friend Andrew and the Air-Hogs rocket toy-- stomp and it shoots rockets!
Our Family: May 28, 2010:
my new wig is shorter and more "styled."
Grandma Johnson, "Nanny," came for a visit
Icee Pops with Ava and Mya
While we had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend, let's continue to remember our Troops, Patriots, Veterans, and all of the Armed Forces and those who faithfully serve our country every day to protect our freedoms! We salute them.
Jack's super soaker Volcano sprinkler : Mt. Tiki Soaki-- it's awesome!
Squirt toys are still fun--
especially if they are Sea Creatures
With Mama in our shades-- I can even put my hair "up" in my longer wig
What happens when you tell Mom and Dad you are just putting your feet in: you "slip" until you are soaked (about 10 times).
A little campfire for roasting S'mores
A little wrestling with DaddyFor love of country they accepted death... ~James A. Garfield
Little re-cap: Our holiday weekend involved chilling, grilling, a little shopping, playing outside, S'mores, pool-time at home, thinking and talking about our Heroes and soldiers, visiting Grandpa Bobby, White Castle, playing with neighbors and cousins Lilly and George (thank you so much Amy and Neal for taking him fishing!). Jack got to go fishing with them and was the highlight of his day, and he says he caught 10 fish including a "Big Mouth" at Cobblestone Lake. [This info. has not been verified and may be the beginning of the fisherman stories.] TBD over July 4th weekend at Grandpa Earl's....

I love the photos! I think my very favorite is the one of Jack on the swingset. I love how the sun shines on his face!
